As part of an ‘Arts Research and Documentation’ project funded by India Foundation for the Arts, this website presents a catalogue of early Bengali children’s books along with critical overviews of some important aspects related to the history and development of the genre.

The research project was conceived and undertaken by Gargi Gangopadhyay.The grant, awarded by the India Foundation for the Arts has been generously endorsed by the Oxford Bookstore.
