Gargi Gangopadhyay is an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of English, Rama Krishna Sarada Mission Vivekananda Vidyabhavan, Kolkata. Her doctoral work "Reading Leisure: A Print Culture for Children in Colonial Bengal" engages with constructions of nationhood in Bengali juvenile literature.
